Sharon Carter, also known as Agent 13, is a prominent character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is a skilled agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D. and later, the CIA.
Her first appearance in the MCU was in the film *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* (2014), portrayed by actress Emily VanCamp. She is initially introduced as Kate, a nurse living next door to Steve Rogers, but is later revealed to be assigned to protect him.
She is the niece of Peggy Carter, Captain America's love interest from World War II. Sharon shares her aunt's dedication and commitment to justice, often finding herself working alongside Steve Rogers/Captain America on various missions.
